JUDGE DREDD
This relates to my topic of overpopulation because the mega-structures would help alleviate the slums and homelessness of the present day. Putting multiples of these structures within a certain boundary would create mega-cities and alleviate even more of the stress. There also is the fact that in Judge Dredd there is a constant theme of rioting, violence and crime. This will become even more frequent as resources begin to dissatisfy the increasing population.
RED MARS
Red Mars relates to my topic because transforming could be an answer to the overpopulation problem. But also because the book focuses on clashing between opposite characters and that is what I hope the research I find will be like, polar in arguments leaving readers a chance to form their own opinions. Also the book at one point talks about immigration being a problem on Mars and that a decision would have to be made on who would be allowed to the planet because it was becoming overcrowded.
